Play of the Week - Belmont Squirt AAA’s, Jack Wiggin, picked up the loose puck in the neutral zone. He accelerated through the neutral zone and drove to the net using good body position taking around one defender and then toe-dragging around another defender. As he gets in close on the goaltender he uses patience to draw the goalie out and has a quick release to finish over the goalie’s shoulder.

Honorable Mention - Lynn Jet’s, Patrick Walsh, makes the initial save on the shot. The opposing team gets the rebounds and shoots on quickly where he makes another save and the rebound squirts to his left. He recovers to make the third save before covering the puck.

Honorable Mention - On the powerplay, Winchester Squirt 1’s, Cam Packard threads a headman pass with a nice touch to Will Richardson, who had snuck behind a defender with great off-puck skating. Will waits till he draws in a defender to then find Vincent Moran, a defenseman who had joined the rush, with a sauce pass in the slot. Vincent then fired a hard wrist shot to score and give his team a 2 goal lead late in the second period.
